Donuts for Dads was a great way to end a great week! It was fun to share handmade donuts as well, using Adjectives to describe the best dads in the world.
This week we will continue reading Little House in the Big Woods and add more items to the lapbook. We love the stories that Pa tells his daughters - the beautiful writing pulls each of us into the little house as if we were there.
In History, we will learn more about the Boy King Tut, his tomb and treasures, and the adventure that 20th century explorers happened to uncover.
In Bible, we will learn the details of the Temple that King Solomon built.
I will update the blog on Monday - I forgot to bring home the Superkids plan book, so I can't give you the spelling list until them. Of course, you will bring home the spelling worksheet on
Monday so you can start practicing right away. Remember to study every night - just like Ms. Blossom suggested! Keep reading your A-Z book at home as well.
This week we will work on the Gala Project (cookbook) - so parents, if you have not sent in your child's favorite recipe, please get it to Mrs. Carroll as soon as possible (written or e-mailed).
Wednesday is Eucharist Chapel - parents, you are always welcome to join us for worship.
