Hello, everyone! I am Mrs. Sarah Carroll and I am delighted to welcome each of you to second grade at Christ Church School! We have an exciting year ahead of us - so let's get started with a happy hooray!
ReplyDeleteI will be the "morning teacher" for second grade (Bible, History, Literature, Handwriting, Grammar and Reading) and Mrs. Cathy Annison will be the "afternoon teacher" for second grade (Math, Science and Enrichment). Together, we will work hard to challenge the students to achieve their potential!
This first week of school will be spent getting acquainted, sharing expectations and procedures, establishing class and personal goals, and getting our minds geared up for the great learning experiences coming up! In Literature, we will begin My Father's Dragon, a favorite of many of generations.
We will be implementing some of the Whole Brain Teaching experiences. This is a very interesting approach to learning and we are excited to get started - and it will be fun!
